working towards my third palace atm

this is already up there among my favorite games of all time tbh, in my top 10 already and i'm probably no more than halfway through, near the end of the third palace

I haven't used any lockpicks in this third palace btw, are they worth the time used? i dind't really get anything decent from them in the first 2 dungeons

yeah I had OCD about them first two palaces but I think I won't bother now, can buy better stuff

Dat feel when a level 39 persona gains an extra 5 levels because the ones you execute had loads of xp.

3rd palace boss took me like 25 mins to beat ffs, did that metal pig form have any weakness? didn't have light or ice in my party, think i tired everything else, just had to whittle him down

I don't remember tbh, I just remember finding it easy to avoid it's attacks and never felt like I was any danger of dieing.

I don't think it has any weaknesses. You just have to wait for it to do it's charge thing, then toss out an item and hit it while it's distracted. Also, you're catching up to Mole I would've been finished with the game long ago, if hadn't had tons of stuff to do. Been stalling on the last palace for a few days already.

don't want any spoilers pls but I imagine when you finish the story it ends and you go into a new game right?

just wondering about grinding mementos etc, do confidant ranks carry over into next game too? or is it just social stats

I'm at my sister's confirmation right now. Might complete the game later tonight.

New Game+ carries over money, items+equipment, social stats, and the Persona compendium. Mementos progress/requests and confidants all reset.

played half the game and only just found out about the persona registry... this will save me a lot of time with fusions

I saw registry and just assumed it was like a compendium/list of all Persona you've found, didn't realise you could buy them again. Lvl 29 atm with some dope AF Persona's. Just done the first section of the 4th palace, actually died first time to some mini boss ffs

If you buy them again are they instantly Level "whatever you are" though.

I keep ignoring them because it's all lower level shit. For example if i bought Arsene again would he be level 44 lol.

If you have unlocked the Network Fusion feature, you should buy Arsene from the registry and fuse him there. You can do it once every day, and you'll get a completely random persona or item every time. I've gotten high-end personas far above my level, that way. If you've unlocked "ultimate personas" from confidants, you may get those through Network Fusion, as well. I've probably been lucky, but I've gotten 3 ultimate personas that way. I don't remember if you unlock Network Fusion automatically, or if it's one of the rewards you get as you build up your relationship with the twins.
