The team is good enough to win but would have preferred JW to play. Understand the decision to rest him though and the changes in defence are good. Hopefully Gibbs and Pod can seamlessly repeat their performances together and Gibbs remains injury free for a long time.

We got to win this... But I have this bad feeling.
Lets hope tho that it means nothing. Villa have been shit this whole season, tbh. And I expect Chambo to be on fire today. Time for him to get his season up and running.

I always do whenever we play.
Need to keep a clean sheet and play it simple, they're a liability in defence but can hurt us on the counter.

Just love using the word lethargic.
We've been sub-par so far, decision making is awful, defending has improved but our overall pressing and closing down is still pretty shat.

I fear this slippery pitch will cost us
but villa will be forced to retreat at some point so important we dont concede early on 2nd half

It is games like this that I really wished that Rosa was healthy. Back four have been good. Midfield has been useless and the front line can't seem to get the ball where they need to.
