Higuain has his PR moment on AS as well... seems like they are both campaigning publicly to stay in Madrid. No reason to do that it would seem to me unless you're worried that you might be sold.

Again, Higuain v Benzema lol... but this time, it's not that starting job or who is better. It's about staying at the club.

I guess this does prove indeed, that there have been talks with both of them and the club or that Aguero/Neymar rumours are very serious.

They must know that their positions are at stake, potentially.

Just read the interview. It's nothing more than you'd expect him to say, so I don't consider it a campaign effort or anything like that.

Had he come out on his own accord and made similar statements, then I'd be more intrigued.

i dont care bout benzema but higuain deserves a starting spot and a certain place on the team for his service to the club.. and the way he always comes back into the first team on great form and has saved us so many times.. he should be treated better than the galacticos

Here is just a small example how this forums usually runs:
- Fabregas stays silent & doesn't feature in some commercial things -> CESC IS GOING TO BARCA!!!!!!!!
- Higuain, Benzema & Kaka says they are staying and features in commercial things -> "Real just milks the final cash before they sell them off" and they are trying to save their asses.

Gonzalo Higuain is unlikely to leave Real Madrid for Roma as the Spanish giants are in no mood to sell the striker, claims transfer consultant Ernesto Bronzetti.

Higuain, 23, has already made it clear he wants to remain at the Bernabeu to continue his Madrid career and win more trophies under Jose Mourinho.

However, reports in Italian paper Il Corriere dello Sport claimed the striker could be signed as an replacement if Mirko Vucinic was to leave Roma. The Montenegrin has been linked with Blackburn Rovers and Juventus recently.

But Bronzetti, who is a transfer market expert with strong links to Madrid, has deconstructed those claims.

"It's all lies. He is not for sale. Ten people have called for Higuain, but there is nothing," the Italian told Radio Centro Suono.

"There is no price for him as Real Madrid do not want to sell. These are the words of the directors, not mine."

Well if we don't get Aguero hopefully both of them start together next season.
