Team is not good enough

We made hard work of beating the worst team in the league.

It's amazing just what a bit of energy and movement from the middle can do, none more so than when Anderson came on. Our whole performance improved. Why oh why can't saf see this and not play either Ando or Cleverley from the start, or better yet, have them both starting together.

Pleased for Fletcher that he scored, but aside from that, he was really bad (as expected as he still recovering). Scholes was much worse. smh...that mf performance in 1st half was shambolic!

I still cant believe we made the worst team in the league match us at OT for 60 mins. ffs!!

again, its sad to say but Scholes and Giggs are holding this team back, Anderson and Cleverley should be first choice every week right now, and we should be buying a CM in January.

Young should never wear a United shirt again, he is so bloody shite its not funny, he went off Rooney took over corner duties from his side and we scored twice.

Rooney simply got the ball past the first defender on the near post ffs, something Young can't seem to do

Play Young on the right and believe me that he would cross so often that you'd think he's the next Becks.

Young is a terrible left side midfielder but he is natural on the right.

well seeing as ando, cleverley, carrick all played midweek, we are prob gonna role out that shite midfield of giggs scholes and I will die a little inside watching us get dominated in midfield....unless SAF surprises us and plays Powell over Giggs

We would have steamrolled Cluj if we had the quality that we used to have a few year ago.

Giggs and Scholes are holding this team back, it's that simple, Giggs is useless as a CM and Scholes doesn't offer much aside from getting the ball to the wings these days. when they retire we will be forced to add quality young CM's

plus you look at the side we through out there, B team that was beaten by a wonder strike, i wouldn't lose sleep over it

and the disgrace continues. Well Clev is injured now, thanks SAF. All thats left is another 6-1 hammering. Seriously this team without Rooney is an embarrassment

I wouldn't get too worked up over yesterday, the performance was indicative of a team that had nothing to play for and it had the tempo of a testimonial match. OT sounded like a graveyard. awful match, but nothing to be concerned about.

But it's just our bad luck that the week before we play the blue scummers, our two best midfielders get injured. If I see either Giggs' or Scholes' name in the starting line up v City, I'm gonna scream... Did you guys see the way they both tracked back so lifelessly in the build up to Cluj's goal? smh lol. Please guys, us United fans love you for all you have done, but please retire.......for the good of the team.

Art...we have been so sh*t this season, how we are first defies belief tbh.....I think its the fact that both chelsea and city have been just as shet...chelsea even more. I mean we've had 3 defeats by november....not good enough by united standards.

Had it not been for rvp n at times cheech, we would be somewhere in midtable. Oh and the fact that utd are so mind numbingly boring with their style of play n defensively we have been all at sea + the worst mf in living memory...

Yes we are first....but its a real head scratcher as to how.

We all know what happened when we were 4 points or so ahead last year and decided to "relax" for the last 4 or 5 games of the season.

We have just been slightly less shit then the other teams is what it comes down to, nothing to be proud of lol we would be blind idiots if we thought this team was doing fine, even tho those last 2 CL games mean nothing, seeing United lose 2 games just ain't feel right, midfield is far below standard in depth and quality of depth

^^ is justified imo. The team was playing some if the worst football ive ever seen utd play. Dont let the results fool you.

Form has picked up, and I know this is a results driven game, but when a club like utd was being outplayed angd conceding against scrub teams, thats when you there are some issues that need to be addressed.

Sadly, we are still conceding goals (exceptions are the last 2 games ).Anyway, the issues in the defence can't be solved in a little time.Sir Alex also said that we need to have patience and make gradually progress by learning from our mistakes.So, we should have doubts for today's performance of our defenders against West Ham United.
