marcelo rotates with arbeloa depending the opponent
di maria and canales rotates in the midfield, 3rd options will either granero or marcelo
alonso's back up will be granero or sahin if we sign him. sell granero if we get sahin.
personal choice as DM/B2B player is pepe. sami rotates with him and starts the 4-3-3 formation.
garay and albiol back ups the D. and i really hope we get a new CB.

benzema and higgy will still compete for that spot....

this is my ideal formation at the moment.... needs some more fixing.
end season will be a lot of transfer rumours
the priority now should strengthen our defense.

Not really. It's just that I can't think any good spanish CBs that aren't at Barcelona. I'm not happy with Albiol either.

You underestimate Coentrao a lot, his right foot isn't bad either. The only question is whether he is fast and can cross with his right? Yes, he can. What's the problem then? Also, Marcelo learned how to defend on the left. While our beloved afroman is better at attacking, Coentrao excels at defending. It's easier to school Coentrao at rightback than Marcelo into it :study:

But if Alonso functions as a DM and Sahin fulfils our expectations, the amazing attacking lineup above could be a reality. Imagine that, with Di Maria, Kaka, Khedira and Carvalho rotating... epicness.

Okay, I just asked because of my lesser knowledge in portuguese football and i read on the old forums that he couldn't shoot with his right foot. That is all, i was a little worried

LOL, I'm a fan of Di Maria and I love what he gives to the squad. He covers alot of ground and is always helping the defence. But seriously if we are going to play 4-3-3 I can't replace Ozil or Ronaldo with him. . It has become hard to pick an starting 11. We have to much quality

im not too sure about moving ramos into cb. He is one of the worlds best right backs and is doing a good enough job for us at rb. Pepe is a defo starter at cb and now that Carvalho is getting on a bit we should look to buy someone young. Thiago Silva would be the best bet but his value will be very high.

Thiago Silva recently said he wants to stay at AC Milan for life.

Thiago Silva isn't and ain't going to be a available transfer for the upcoming years.

how do people rate the borusia dortmund centre backs Hummels and Subotic? Both had a great season helping their team win the german league. I think dortmund had the second best record of least goals let in with 22 in 34 games.

Hmm actually I have never watched them play. But I have seen some youtube videos of Hummels and he seems like a decent center back with a great future. And also what I have read in forums he has all the abilities to become and maybe is one of the best center backs. But he's not for sale so that's a problem

IMO, this topic should be just about formations with CURRENT Real Madrid players, not about players we don't own yet or fantasy football.

But anyway, I'm will post my lineup after we have finished our transfers (hopefully when pre-season starts).
