Arsenal Ladies

Right now the Arsenal Ladies are fighting it out with Turbine Potsdam who will proceed into the quarter final of the Champions League.
The first leg at 1 Nov 2012 ended Arsenal LFC 2:1 Turbina Potsdam.
The second leg is running right now and the standing is Turbine Potsdam 3:3 Arsenal LFC after exactly 60 minutes playing time. In the match Arsenal was leading 0:2 at half-time, but in the second half a virtual rain of goals occurred in the first 15 minutes already...

Yup. ATM the Arsenal Ladies are in the QF. But there are about 15 min to go still. ^^

I guess that's it for Arsenal! They just scored the 3:4 and should be through now. Turbine would need 3 goals now and that is pretty much out of the question.

LOL. Good job by your Ladies. Turbine is always one of the German Top 3 teams and they are usually no push-overs in Europe either.

True. Last season the Arsenal Ladies got as far as to the CL semi final (where they were kicked out by 1. FFC Frankfurt, by the way). This year this won't happen to them again, though, as Frankfurt for once failed to qualify (for the first time in I don't know how many years). But VfL Wolfsburg (current German Vice champion) is still available.

As things stand atm (15 min before final whistle), VfL Wolfsburg will be your opponent in the CL semis.

Arsenal will play the first leg at home on 13th or 14th April, with the return leg in Germany 7 days later

VfL Wolfsburg are current Bundesliga leaders, even though they don't really have any CL pedigree (yet), so Arsenal Ladies will be the big favourites.

yh Lyon look unstoppable atm..... they haven't conceded a single goal this CL campaign 
they are favourites to me....psg will probably be a contender next season they have made a drastic overhaul of their squad just like their male counterparts

Arsenal Ladies won it in 2006/07. Olympique Lyon were the dominant team for the last three years (even though Turbine Potsdam won in 2009/10, but only on penalties).
