Twisted Metal for the PS3

Anybody have it or played it? I was a big fan of the old PS2 games, thinking about getting this one..

I just found out a few days ago that there was a Twisted Metal game for the PS3, it came out months ago :facepalm:

The first one was on the PS1 oh yeah.. There are so many games I forget which I've played, I remember 1 and 2 the most though

It was okay.
I loved the multiplayer beta but I'd get bored rather quickly

pickup the new NFS if need be. Hot Pursuit was GOAT

Apparently there's a series made after this, starring Anthony Mackie.

I played this on PS1 and I loved it as a kid (Warthog at Amazonia :bow:

) but I find it hard to imagine, how do you even make series about cars that shoot.

For some reason that I can't explain, I watched an episode. It's short, not even 30 min episodes.

Anyway, it was a funeral of some old lady. They put some flowers in her hands, put her in a BMW convertible, released it from a moving truck on the road and blew her up to pieces, then they had a party with All the things she said from TATU on repeat, on the moving truck.

I have to admit I don't like it, it's a bit interesting but it has too much violence, I don't know why so much violence is being pushed in Hollywood, it was too much even before, but this way out of hand.

I love post-apo but this reminds me a lot of Mad Max and I only watched that movie because of Tom Hardy, otherwise it’s quite meh

Way too comic-esque/cartoonish for my tastes and Mackie is annoying af

I had no intention to ever watch a show about twisted metal, but this post made me interested to check out the level of absurdity that it must be Laughing
