It even looked good after he came off. Compared to the utter shambles on Wednesday night, it was excellent.

Our best CB imo, while i still don't think he was worth 30m when we purchased him. Lets be honest when you pay 30m for a defender you expect more consistency and maturity.

Luiz could look like the best defender in the world in one game and the next you wonder what happened to that player. But he is a great defender and i look forward to many years of Luiz in our back four.

Meanwhile nothing to do with Cahill game today, and not a knee jerk but imo he is best as a 3rd choice CB. Imo he is like the opposite of Luiz, way too passive and as a defender he has too be more aggressive. Don't like defenders who are reactive rather being proactive.

I also want to put this Mikel quote in here:
