That's why I mentioned him. MvB as well, pure leadership and great reading of the game.
Lahm because he's smart. Like really, really smart. On and off the pitch. I generally think players with great vision (Xavi, Özil, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Xabi, Kaka) make great tacticians when they retire. If they're also leader types, they'll make great coaches/managers.
Just look at Beckenbauer. Or Cruyff. Or Guardiola.

Giggs tons of experience, calm, classy. MvB was the first name that poped up for the mentioned reasons.

Re: Which current players do you think would make good coaches?
I don't about the making good coaches part but I could definitely see the likes of Raul, ADP, Xavi, Xabi, Giggs becoming managers.
Whether they'll be good remains to be seen...

Re: Which current players do you think would make good coaches?
Seedorf can make an excellent coach.
Pirlo can be a great tactician, he is also the silent leader type.
Gattuso can be redknapp style manager, but he also showed he had a great tactical mind in his private ventures as well, so who knows.
