Zoff: 'Juve will worry in Florence'
Dino Zoff warns Juventus “will face a hostile environment” at the Stadio Franchi against arch rivals Fiorentina this evening.
The former Bianconeri goalkeeper has experienced the fiery Florentine fans and expects an upset.
“This time Juventus could run into difficulty,” he told Violanews. “After all, they can’t win all the time, nor put in great performances.
“It is a very dangerous game. I remember when we came to Florence to play there was always a little concern within the squad.
“They will face a hostile environment and at times we played some terrible games against a great Fiorentina.
“Juventus are clearly superior as a team, but I really like this Fiorentina. They are organised, play the ball to feet and are not afraid of anyone. So, yes, there could be an upset.”
Coach Antonio Conte is sitting out a 10-month ban, but there are security fears over where he will be seated in the stands.
There are reports he could be placed in with the journalists of Juventus Channel, but the more likely seat will be in the VIP section along with Juve President Andrea Agnelli and the Fiorentina owners Diego and Andrea Della Valle.
