Zoff fired up by Juve-Lazio

Former Lazio and Juventus Coach Dino Zoff is looking forward to today’s clash and was “convinced by Vladimir Petkovic straight away.”

“I saw a great Lazio side in the derby,” Zoff told Radio Manà Manà.

“They have been somewhat inconsistent during the last few weeks, but I hope the Lazio we saw in the first half of the derby is the one that steps out in Turin.

“I was convinced by Petkovic straight away because he was able to find the right placement for all the players at his disposal.

“Having said that, he should keep his players on their toes more to avoid the serious defensive holes on some of the goals conceded this season.”

Zoff was a player for Juventus and their Coach from 1988-90, then went to Lazio as tactician, then director and eventually President before returning to the Biancocelesti bench in January 2001.
