As a matter of fact, the reaction to the monkey chants was IMO totally wrong. Instead of going ballistic and thus just encouraging the idiots, people should have commented the monkey noises in the way that they never thought that so many monkey were among the offending "fans" - thus one would have embarassed them big time and I bet they would have thought twice about doing stuff like this again. ^^

(It is the same effect as not getting upset by exhibitionist, but looking as him sadly and saying "you poor man, shouldn't you better hide that little thing?" )

That would only work if the idiots themselves get fined. For a club that is mostly small change (if it isn't a tiny 4th division side, that is ^^)
