No, he hasn't. Barrios left, Sahin left, Kagawa left. Piszczek arrived in 10/11, Lewandowski starting playing in 11/12, Leitner came back in 11/12, Reus came in 12/13, Schieber came in 12/13. Hardly "years".

Not to mention that Ligue 1 is a Mickey Mouse league compared to top leagues such as the Bundesliga.

Gotze by a country mile! Hazard isnt bad by any means but Gotze is on a while different level.

Its not even close lol. Currently Hazard is in the top 3 most overhyped players in the world.

How much did they pay for him again?

It's not considerably more competitive. Although the relegation battle in 2011/2012 was pretty cool - only 6 points separated the relegated teams from 10th place. Even this year's Ligue 1 is more competitive, only 3 points separate 1st from 3rd.

But the quality of teams between the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 is quite vast, in my opinion.

Well Viva, as progressive Götze's season for Bayern has been, the dominance Hazard has set in his recent form has been absolutely stellar, an influence that Götze has not tangibly reached yet within his performances for Dortmund or Bayern. Inference has to be visually judged to choose a factor. Advantage is Götze is two years younger and has been a victim of many tactical shifts and sacrificial roles yet what Hazard is doing for Chelsea a more formidable threat than Mario's for Bayern.

To be fair it is much harder to make an impact at Bayern. What I can say is that the guy is absolutely brilliant in big matches. I think Götze is a more mature, intelligent player on the pitch, but in terms of ability Hazard is better. I would still take Götze ahead of Hazard, though.

Hazard is Chelsea's main man now. The improvement he has show in his play and attitude has been immense. He has been the Premier League's best player these past couple of weeks.

hazard is a creative engine of chelsea along with driver oscar . for bayern their have so many playmakers lahm , ribery , thiago ,muller (even javi's passing is super ) so its difficult for goetze to shine in bayerns setup as compared to a team with a defense first mentality like chelsea whose main creative "role" ( he also has defensive role) is carried by hazard .

Hazard's form has been scintillating the last few months, but you obviously haven't been watching the last 10 Bayern matches. Goetze has been Bayern's best player, hands down. He's now the most expensive German according to Transfermarkt @ 55MM Euro (compared to 45 MM Euro for Hazard).
