Eden Hazard vs Mario Gotze

Hazard vs Gotze. In my opinion these are the two best young talents out there right now. But which one is better?

Different players IMO, Gotze is a combination of Messi/Iniesta, and Hazard is more of a young CR7(but a better passer and vision). I'd choose Gotze over Hazard.

what has hazard done to be considered better than götze. play 3 good EPL games? cauz that's about it.

well it's tough, one would be forced to say hazard just because he made the move to a big club earlier which götze refused to do up until now and was sidelined for almost half a year.

i refuse to say hazard just because he made a very good start for the current CL winner. götze could do the same in any other team of this strength no doubt. i'm not gonna alter my opinion in this thread every 2 weeks so - götze is better but given the "momentum" i'll make it a draw.

hazard's career didnt start with chelsea he has played very very well for lille highlighted by their domestic double a couple years ago, hes a huge reason why they have done so well the past couple years.

the reason he has done so well with chelsea is because he is such a competent young player, mature beyond his years.

gotze is also promising but he has been injured, he needs to come back and prove his ability again before i can side with him

for now its hazard.

Gotze was pretty irrelevant last season

Pretty tight, I'd say. Gotze has been far from irrelevant, I mean Dortmund have won 2 Bundesligas in a row and Godze has always put in his effort.

Toffer, you don't consider Dortmund a big club? I know they flopped in CL last year, but come on. They have an awesome squad.

We can decide who's better when the season ends, because right now it's just a matter of what sort of player do you want.

yes but they certainly not on the same level, with experience being the main factor. dortmund has to do way more effort to grind out results than chelsea.

i wouldn't be too sure about that. he put in some great performances, scored the winner in the allianz arena and played great against schalke, wolfsburg etc... his efforts in the first half of the season were vital just like kagawa's were in a similar situation the season before. on top of that he plays in a considerably more competitive league than hazard did.

as sushi said, this can become a topic at the end of the season or maybe right after hazard comes back from a 6 month injury.

IMO this should be Oscar vs Gotze if anything, I think he'll be better than Hazard in the future.
