Most important rule: respect other people's opinion! Don't be shy to put any player you want!

Who do you think are the best 10 freekick takers?

If you can, respect some of those parameters:

Frequency – How often the player scores from free kicks
Importance – How important was the game the free kick was scored in
Legacy – What impact did the player have on the game from his free kicks

You can make 2 tops like those:

TOP 5 at the moment:

Of course i do, in 2008/2009 season del piero scored 7 free kicks in 7 matches and that is quite much for a 34 year old at his time, without counting against real madrid and zenit.
And i forgot to mention shunsuke nakamura .

ronaldinho? REoberto carlos? carlos scored great free kick and never scored them consistently. Easy to see those who were born befre 1991. FML

Yes but the goals scored from free kicks by Roberto Carlos were amazing...very spectacular, in a unique style.

By the way, he scored enough goals from free kicks to be put in a top.

Ronaldinho is also a great free kick taker.Check this, mate:

Im surprised no one mentioned zico, i guess he played a long time ago but still, thought his free kicks were more famous than this, definately one of the best in football history.



maradona, juninho and mihajlovic also stand out a lot







Obviously many more to mentioned as well. They have different styles so kind of hard to compare, think diego was the best i have seen at curve balls with placement, then zico, juninho more often hits the ball to dip and swerve, probably the best ive seen at it but not sure

lol at people going for their picks cause of Youtube videos. If that was the case then Cronaldo would be the best freekick taker of all time. He used to be great at them tho in manure 07-09 and 09/10 in madrid then I dno what happend.

really hard to pick but the most dangerous FK taker is probably Pirlo or Sebastian Larsson.

Atm, Messi is easily the best at it. 4 goals in last 19 matches, 3 in last 10, including couple of posts and amazing saves.

Mihajlovic, Juninho, Maradona, Platini, Beckham, Zico, RC3 and R7

If we look at stats at the moment its messi. takes less but effectively. With time messi will be as good as del piero
