The reports vary, but it appears Stoke have made a bid of around £4-5 million.

I would be surprised if we didn't accept. I actually think Adam could be a great fit at stoke.

As for the Berba/Juve deal, I think it could have been a brilliant move for both. He's inexpensive and while he's not flashy, he does provide more goals than anyone on their roster. Berbatov would've gotten the chance to lead the line for a squad that is favored to win Serie A and could make a run in the CL. However... He chose Fulham... scratch

If both Spearing and Adam leave we go from having a good deal of depth in midfield to potentially being a bit thin there again... Lucas's injury could see one of those two stay at least until January.

WHAT??? No way in hell we'll be thin in center midfield without Adam and Spearing.

At most Lucas will be out 8 weeks, we've got Sahin, Allen, Gerrard, Hendo, Shelvey, Suso, Coady, Teixeira. BR rates youngsters highly as we've seen from his trust in them. Suso, Coady, and Teixiera have been all training with the first team from preseason till now. They're ready to be thrown in if need be.

He has turned down Fulham as well apparently if you believe twitter sources.

He mainly chose Fulham option cuz

1.His wife wanted to stay in England apparently

2.He'll be teaming up with Jol once again.
