Have to say I'm rather surprised things have gone quite so poorly for Vic this season. I of course hardly expected him to set the world on fire, and certainly never expected him to be a first-team regular, but after his promising showings this summer in our preseason tours (which are admittedly unwise to judge too much off of, in fairness), as well as his solid showings whenever given a chance last season, I'm slightly surprised he's been so abjectly woeful for you this season, judging by what most of the things I'm reading from Liverpool fans delineate. Was really hoping he'd kick on and use this chance to his advantage. Seems he's done the exact opposite and gone decidedly backwards. Shame.

Yeah, he always looked promising for us and I was always happy to see him play.
