They wont' give a single f*ck for the first 30 games. Then they'll win the last 8 and survive relegation. Martinez

The Latics scored 31% of their total goal haul from outside the box, the highest proportion of any team in the top flight.

You haven't witnessed the miraculous Borussia Mönchengladbach team in 2010/11 then. They had only 16 (!!) points on matchday 22 (the BL has 34 matchdays altogether) and they were last and 7 points behind the relegation play-off spot - and they stayed in the BL anyway, only to end up 4th in the BL in season 2011/12.RealGunner wrote:No team have lost 12 matches in a row and survived relegation. Re: The Temple of Miyaichi & Al-Habsi aka the Wigan Athletic Thread
The only thing that changed from matchday 23 on was the coach (Favre for Frontzeck) and then the goalkeeper (first Bailly for Heimeroth, and from Matchday 29 on till today Marc-André ter Stegen). The rest of the team interestingly stayed all the same. (But that's something we can better discuss in the BMG section if you like).
This is Wigan's thread after all. May they have a successful new season!

Be sure they'd bite back. They even won home and away against Bayern last season. I hope they will do well against Dynamo Kiev next week!Zealous wrote:Wigan would eat Gladbach alive tbh.
