Napoli caught 'spying' on Juve?
There are remarkable reports that Walter Mazzarri’s assistants were caught ‘spying’ on today’s Juventus training session, infuriating the Bianconeri.
Napoli and Juve face off in the Italian Super Cup on Saturday in Beijing, kick-off 13.00 UK time.
It’s claimed that Enzo Concina and Claudio Nitti were spotted in the stands of the Olympic Sport Center Stadium today.
Juve were training in the complex alongside a group of children learning judo and the members of the Napoli coaching staff tried to blend in among the parents.
It’s reported they were spotted because of the flash from their cameras and were then confronted by the Juve security team.
According to TMW and Calciomercato, the incident infuriated the Bianconeri, so director of sport Fabio Paratici even called Napoli director Riccardo Bigon to complain.

I believe its called "scouting on the opposition",
are we complaining because it wasn't Napoli team scouts that were "spying" on us and that they were coaches?
Seriously what differences does it make? It pains me to say this but we are fast adapting to the name tag "the drama queen of Italian soccer".....

Well, if calcio is anything like American sports like american football, spying is illegal under the league rules and carries significant penalties. The New England Patriots got into big trouble for similar behavior. the super coppa is hardly a real contest anyways.

Re: Napoli caught 'spying' on Juve?
i found it funny that they tried to blend in with the parents of the kids in judo class. Scouting usually takes place during games.. I'm not sure what the case in Italy is but from Paratici's reaction must mean that its not kosher.
idk i dont think its a huge deal but napoli are our rivals. What are we supposed to do if we catch them sneaking in to our practices, offer them lemonade?

Sitting in the stands watching practice is very different from using video cameras to read the opposing teams playbook so you know what plays they're calling 45 seconds later.
Not comparable at all.

It's not that different when you're not supposed to be there.
