Considering we have had another bid rejected for Debuchy because Ashley's a cheap bastard i doubt we are buying anyone this summer.
Back to midtable we go

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 6
Santos president:
"Neymar is a phenomenon and I'm sure that given his performances at the Olympics, this year he will be ranked among the top three players in the world - and we will not be selling him," the Santos supremo is quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.
"Sandro Rosell is a very intelligent man and has enough information available to him to avoid wasting time trying to talk with Neymar [about moving] now.
"Neymar leaving before 2014 is impossible."
Indeed, Ribeiro revealed that he has no qualms about running the risk of the player leaving the Vila Belmiro on a free transfer in two years' time.
"What Neymar will generate for Santos in the next few years offsets the prospect of him leaving for nothing," he argued.
"Besides, Neymar is happy here and we still have not lost hope of him continuing with us. Either way, Neymar will be free to decide his future in 2014."

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 6
Fenerbahçe have confirmed they are holding talks with Juventus over the transfer of Milos Krasic.
The Istanbul club released a statement on the Public Disclosure Forum (KAP), "Negotiations with Juventus player Milos Krasic are underway."
The statement coincided with Krasic's agent Dejan Joksimovic arriving in Istanbul ahead of talks with the Istanbul club.
------------------------
Lille president:
“I have decided that Mathieu Debuchy will remain at Lille LOSC.
“The offer from Newcastle is definitely not the value of the player. As we have significant challenges in August (including a Champions League qualifier), we must move on.
“Any offer for Debuchy should be consistent and commensurate with his replacement. As the conditions are not met, it is my duty to make a decision.”

They have said they will sell for 8m euros which is around 6.2m.
Why we don't pay it is beyond me.

I think a bid of around 8m would be reasonable and do the trick.
Still can't believe how Newcastle don't want to pay that extra million or two when they bought the likes of Smith and Owen quite high.

Different era mate, Shepherd probably would have paid 15m without asking 2 months ago
8m euros is what they want, but for some reason we don't want to pay it.

Take your pick.
I haven't been following this too closely, but why the hell do Malaga need to raise funds? They have a sheikh...

Agger's agent: "Daniel is very happy and has not demanded a move"
"The reason he is not with the squad is not injury. It's up to the club and management"
"LFC have not offered any new contract talks"
:facepalm
FSG are like Hicks and Gillette but with good PR...and Rodgers is their Yes man muppet

Monreal's worth around 7-8m I think. Would be a good option for Milan, Man Utd, Chelsea and a lot of other tops clubs.

If Debuchy was playing for Porto/Udinese he would cost atleast 20 million euros.

Al-Thani has decided he doesn't want to invest in Malaga any more. They have to raise funds to cover debt and payments.
Malaga released a statement on their site declaring their intention to restructure things so that they can abide by FFP. They want to sell those players to get back on track financially, even though it'll be a massive step backwards.

What does it mean by failed medical? Because how can a player be fit for one club but not another?
Inflammation of the pelvis can restrict quite a bit of free movement. He probably won't get much of a chance with Milan either.

Still if you can get Debuchy, you are equipped with one of the most promising FBs in the league....
after Arsenal .. with Santon and Debuchy.

After failing to Land Bender and Martinez, Bayern Munich 18 years old youth player Emre Can is expected to step up and claim first team position for himself.
