Melo is a pretty good destroyer, but is a liability because hes such a hothead and is very error prone. Would be a good backup for Bayern if Tymo leaves.

And yeah we need a replacement but Modric is as good as gone at this point, he has to be let go, even if Spurs haven't a replacement yet. They know they need one though, they'll splash the cash if they really don't have a replacement by the end of August. I expect Modric to be in Madrid by then, as well.

Really the stupid thing to do in this case is to keep him. His heart is elsewhere, he wants to move, he doesn't want to be in North London anymore, he's gone.

Yeah that would be awesome and he would be great with Spurs seeing as we play the most attractive football in the EPL (what? it's true and everyone knows it)

But he's said he wants to stay if I'm not mistaken, he wants to make it in Madrid, he's only been there one year, he's a young lad, and Madrid payed 10 million for him. If nothing else, he'll stay there at least another year. If he continues to be ostracized then we can talk a transfer but at this point in time I see it as highly unlikely.

I hope I'm proven wrong, but it just doesn't make sense to me.
