Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 5
Berbatov:
Berbatov wrote on his Facebook page: "Because I am tired of speculation, I am telling you this. I read the papers and I see they say £10million is my price.
"I go and talk with Sir Alex, and he says to me £5million. So who is telling the truth, what do you think?
"And the truth is, I love this club, but I am not going to be useful to anyone, if I am not playing.
"And I want to play, I want to help. But for unknown reasons it's not going to happen, or my chances will be limited, so it's better for everyone if we say goodbye.
"If not, I am professional and I will keep doing everything I can, to help my team and my team-mates, whenever I have opportunity to do so."

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 5
Sad that he wasn't in Fergie's plans anymore after the 2010-2011 season where he was PL's top scorer. Would be a great buy for Allegri but I don't know if he will fit into Milan's setup. Maybe he could go back to Tottenham or any PL team for that matter.

Not sure he'd get into the Milan side.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 5
He could be a temporary solution if they can't get Tevez or at least until Pato pulls his mojo out of Sylvia. He's 31 and comes for 5m (roughly 8m euros I think) so that's not a stupid buy at all. Tactically-wise I think he can get by.
We could even use him as a makeweight for a Baines deal.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 5
I really can't see Everton being able to afford Berbatov's wages. Besides, they have Jelavic and Naismith already. I don't think they're looking for strikers.
I think he'd be a good option for Milan, though.

Lloris:
Both Arsenal and Tottenham have reportedly being eyeing the player to give them a solid cover between the sticks but in a recent interview to MaxiFootball, Lyon President Jean Michel-Aulas has said that the time period to sign the prodigious keeper has passed. The man spoke to the media at the beginning of July on a potential move for Lloris, “Hugo said he would like to leave if he had an opportunity to play in one of the five biggest European clubs… If any of these clubs made a proposal to the value of £16m, it will have a good outcome. If this is not the case before July 15, he will stay at Lyon for the season.”

Defoe and Sessegnon.
---------------------
Newcastle should add 2m to the starting offer, usually does the trick on FIFA.
---------------------
Newcastle's audacious attempt to bring Andy Carroll back to St James' Park on loan with a view to a permanent deal has been rejected by Liverpool.
The Magpies saw their opening bid to land the striker they sold to the Merseyside club for £35million in January 2011 turned down by the Anfield outfit.
However, it is understood that the Reds could be willing to listen to offers for the England international should the North East outfit follow up their initial interest.

I hope we f*ck off tbh, we are obviously trying to take the piss.
We dont need Carroll and isn't worth the hassle.
It was funny at first, but now we seem legitimately interested i'm getting scared.
Sign 2 defenders and striker who can play wide and ignore this drunken twat.

Twitter detectives were hard at work this afternoon when a mystery player and his agent were spotted with Paul Lambert at Villa Park on a Sunday. After extensive analysis it was determined that the player was Feyenoord's captain and center back for the Dutch national team, Ron Vlaar.

I'd love to see Berbatov try his trade in La Liga tbh, with his technical skill and footballing brain, I've always wanted to see what he could do in La Liga, I think he could be a hit there for a team like Malaga or something, since obviously Barca nor Madrid are interested.
