Messi is argentina first striker. There is no way Higuain gets into the first eleven with the tactic they are playing atm

Higgy is not quaranteed starter for Argentina (under Bautisa). Keep in mind there was a lot of politics as to who played and where with Primadonna. Argentina is blessed with world class strikers (Messi, Telvez, Milito and even Pastore at times in addition to Higgy and Kun). With him coming off a serious injury and Milito's recent bad form, it's probably Telvez or Kun to play along side Messi. Higgy will get time,but I wouldn't assume he starts.

Wouldn't mind Adebayor as 3rd striker. He provides something different to Higuain and Benzema/Aguero.

Messi - Tevez starting, with either Di Maria or Aguero, and Higuain is a tactical difference.

All those guys can play the wing or cf. They all can playball over the field in multiple positions.

Their attack is like that of barcelona. Messi on the middle, and inside forwards, which perfectly suit Tevez and Aguero. Di Maria has done well there as well.

Higuain should play in the position Villa did in the CL final.

As much as batista wants it,i dont think argentina can emulate barca.I mean,masch,cambiasso and banega on the midfield,you cant get much from that.besides,they have such an average defense,they will suffer a lot against fast SA counter attacking teams like Chile.

Villa didn't do much dribbling. He was pretty much the CF but more towards the right. Aguero could be the Pedro type player on the left.

When I played, if you couldn't hack it as a cf, you were moved to a wing player as long as you had the speed.

Most of their top CB's barely played last season.

Then Milito-Masch, tbh, garay didnt play this season, he cant just get off his injury and start for the NT, it's craaaaaazy.

Otamendi > garay atm, besides, Garay-milito is too slow for the kind of possession game they wanna play, chile would rape them as you said.

maybe it will be Otamendi-Milito, but i admit playing pastore in the midfield and masch in defense can be awesome.

i dont think he would put masch as a CB,that would be like spitting in the face of the cbs he called up.

are you basing it on WHEN he was injured, or after his injury(while he was recovering)

higuain is their best striker and will always be that

messi even if deployed as a striker will float down and down until he is parallel with the midfield

kun is garbage, tevez is great but his attitude and milito is passed it

so there we go, higgy their only good option

even primadonna who knows one or two things about football didnt hesitate to put his son in law on the bench guess that gives us a tiny bit of clue who the best one is huh?
