I'm guessing you mean that Modric was already going to be sold. Sigurdsson is good, but he's nowhere near that good, and they don't have a similar playing style. Sigurdsson is much more similar to Van der Vaart. He plays mainly as a CAM, but can also operate a little deeper as a CM that tends to get forward.

About 6 newspapers thinks this is happening 3 of which being local nufc papers with links to the club..... just a question of us agreeing a fee really.

The player wants to join and we want to sign him, it should happen soon id imagine.

We have also supposedly agreed a fee for Douglas but any deal might be postponed till August so he can complete his Dutch citizenship.

As for Luuk De Jong, we offered them 14 million euros and they have turned it down i highly doubt someone will offer them as high as that at least in this window.

They are playing a very risky game, although as Ba looks like staying he's not as important to sign as Douglas and Debuchy are.

He's not on the verge of joining anyone, he wants to join.... but we are not going to offer more than the 14m euros we have.

I do find it funny how the Gladbach signed for 11m story over a week ago was denied by Twente while we were in negotiations with them yet the whole world still believed it Laughing

I mean come on, we offer 14m and its rejected yet Twente are going to accept 11m from Gladbach Laughing

Also Hoilett is'nt joining Gladbach either at least as it stands...... Reading are very interested but most people over here believe we are the favourites although Hoilett is'nt a priority for us.
