Re: Next AS Roma Manager thread
I think Zeman could be the right man for Roma right now. He is very experienced and knows how to develop and work with young players which is exactly what we need right now. I feel Lamela, Borini, Bojan, among others would benefit greatly under Zeman. I also feel he has developed a lot as a manager since the last time he sat on our bench.

I think we have too many strikers that would benefit from him lol. Totti's presence has not even the slightest doubt. Bojan, Borini, Caprari and Lamela could all work on the flanks, as well as Osvaldo who Zeman already used as a wide striker the last time he coached him. We have 6 guys we could really rely on under Zeman's tactics, which is more than enough.

Re: Next AS Roma Manager thread
But how will he marshal our defense? That's what I'm focused on.
We've got everything we need in the attacking third, but it'll be for naught if we don't rebuild our crumbling defense and if Zeman can do that, only then will I grow warmer about this.

Re: Next AS Roma Manager thread
Well in that respect, Zeman faces the same problems that Villas Boas or Montella would've had. In defense, the quality just isn't there. Heinze and Juan may or may not be on their way out, that'll be Zeman's call. Same goes for Kjaer. Hopefully Burdisso comes back as good as he was, that would practically be like having a new acquisition.
Zeman would need a fast and physical center back who won't get beaten by those opposing long balls, something we lacked this year. Ogbonna-Burdisso seems pretty reliable. It's not the best, but definitely a step up from what we had.
Crescenzi (Rosi) - Burdisso (Kjaer) - Ogbonna (Juan) - Armero (Marquinho)
That's a start, about 25 million euros of investment and a renewed loan for Kjaer to get this.
PS- I know those two signings are unlikely, but just to give an example.

Zeman would be nice.. I would love to see Zeman bringing in Verratti with him from Pescara.

So everyone has been deceived except for the person who just voted for Zeman.
