As I was saying. It is deliciously ironic because the Germans are saying that Chelsea have the better spirit, more balls, fighting attitude, etc while criticisng them for not being technical enough. They are now priding themselves on playing nice but choking mentally Come on, cant anyone else see this? Don't you remember Khan and all that? These are Ze Germans we are talking about!
I understood you. The situation is ironic, not my post. And I agree with you.

Chelsea played a typical Italian tactical game and had a bit of luck.

TBH it was a horribly bad football match, but I never care in finals, the excitement is so great, I would enjoy it even if Wigan Athletic were playing Arminia Bielefeld, as long as the winner would be called the Champion of something.

Dat European co-operation
Yeah, the situation is nothing but hillarious, your post was ironic for that reason, it reflects the situation. To be fair, I havent seen too much complaining and butthurtery from ze Germans (Idris is probably still in shock), so kudos for that.

Re: Chelsea Champions of Europe
Idris was quite butthurt, but he's not German, so I won't claim him
Also he was raving mad at everything, he really didn't make any excuses, so kudos to him on that part. He was more mad at his own players than anything else
I just had to say something for Chelseas spirit, because I have indeed been calling them a plastic club, and they clearly showed they didn't deserve that. They won by playing like shit, but playing like shit with a lot of heart and spunk.

Guess the best way to win the champions league is to make sure you beat barca..Lol I mean for the past 5 seasons all teams to have beaten barca have gone on to have won it. man united, inter and now chelsea.

Who needs to have a good domestic season when you can just troll everyone and qualify for the CL via winning it? That's style right there.

Re: Chelsea Champions of Europe
Dramatic to say the least, but fully deserved by Chelsea.
I said it in chat and I'll say it now....I have no sympathy for Bayern Munich. They dominated nearly every facet of this game and yet failed so completely and utterly. You don't rack up the stats this side racked up today and not walk away with a trophy. Bayern clearly deceived me in that regard.
Chelsea took their chances. It's as simple as that. Bayern had 20 corners and did nothing with them. Chelsea made good use of the solitary one they got.
Bayern's star attackers failed where Chelsea's star attacker triumphed. The only player for me that I can sympathize with is Neuer. He did everything he possibly could to win today, even scoring a penalty himself. His teammates let him down massively.

Deserved, as they were the clear underdogs and won with spirit and perseverance.

Re: Chelsea Champions of Europe
Football taught me a lesson today, never underestimate spirit and mental toughness.
this is why the game is so beautiful, it's not all about playing pretty, and playing one twos, it's a sport of men.
My appreciation for the work mourinho does goes up a notch today. He is the one that ignited this spirit in Chelsea a couple of years ago, and it's living to this day.
respect.

Ramos
trad is a little rough but:
"I didnt know Neuer was so good in finals, maybe next time...be humble, champion"
Por cierto, no sabía que se le daban tan bien las finales a Neuer. Otro año será..!! Humildad siempre campeón..!!
