Petr Cech has been in spectacular form lately. Drogba may be in the spotlight right now, but I think Cech has been just as, if not more decisive for Chelsea this season.

Nueur isnt the one to blame. It's his teamates who let him down. He has make good decisions over the pitch, and nailed down 1 penalty.

It could've been 5-0 easily, or something like that. The fact that gomez, robben, ribery can't perform during one of the biggest match of their careers is unacceptable. Even Luiz, a terrible defender who can't position himself ffs, knew what to do, and what must be done properly today.

Bayern were easily the better team and that clearly showed. Chelsea defended with 9-10 men before Muller was substituted. Still believe Neuer is the best GK and Schweini is the best midfielder. One goal let in and one penalty miss doesnt change my opinion. Bayern shouldve been 5-0 up by that point if Gomez wasnt off form and clearly exhausted after playing every game in 3 competitions this season. Not to mention Ribery going off hurt Bayern.

I feel really terrible for Schweini and Lahm. Robben too, but Schweini the most. He got so emotional after his miss. Again he came so close to winning a big title, and fell just short. He deserves to be a champion. Lahm too. Robben missed that PK, but actually had a decent game. I dont know about you guys, but i dont consider it a bad game when
youre marked by at least 2, but most of the time 3 or 4 guys every time you have the ball and you still dribble at them and get off shots now and again and nice passes, even if the shots were off target. I hope Schweini and Lahm finally get their deserved big trophy in the Euro, and i think they will.

Congrats to Chelsea though. Drogba was great, but Cech was by far your man of the match. Him, along with poor finishing by Bayern, were the only reasons why this wasnt a serious beating in Bayerns favor.

but yea, if chelsea didnt deserve it, bayern didn't either. They had like bzillian chances and threw them all away. You can't say that one of the most efficient team on the attack deserved it after seeing that many chances go to waste.

Chelsea had little, but they take them when they were up for the grab.

Although the "lol, Chelsea will never win the CL" banter is gone, I can't use a crap "reason" like that against their win. I personally thought they were very lucky in their last 3 CL games, with Barca and Bayern having loads and loads of chances, but football is about scoring goals and no-one took their chances quite as precisely as Chelsea, especially Drogba.

Also, so if you are the lesser team in quality, you never deserve to win? You should just give up and say, here Bayern, take it, we have less technical prowess and players of lesser quality, so here just take your CL because Football Should Win!

No, obviously not. It is complete bullshit, football did win today, because perseverance and continuing to fight is a important quality in football too. Bayern was scared and bottled it, and simultaneously also arrogant. If you have that much more quality in your team, you should win. And they didn't. That is only to the merit of Chelsea and the demerit of Bayern, but doesn't make Chelsea the undeserved winner.

In your case,the underdog could never win a match. To me, and no offence because I know this is a topic on contention on here, that shows that you don't really GET the emotional side of football. It isn't about tactics, and pretty football and stats only. Whether this may be because you usually watch matches online, and not in the company of other fans in a cafe or in the stadium, and read up on reviews etc. on the internet, I will leave in the middle.
