Re: Tough week for Calcio
You forgot Pippo Inzaghi , though i am not sure what he will do if he doesn't retire.
Respect to Del Piero and Di Vaio , they ve earned it . Wish them the best , wherever they go. As for Seedorf , like Nesta , i want to cry like a little girl they are leaving Milan , but i shall accept it with respect and gratitude. My outmost respect goes for these 2 who made the game even more beautiful with their presence on the pitch.
Serie A will be significantly lesser next season , all these living legends leaving ... next season is going to be different , on so many levels.

I thought this was going to be about the betting scandal involving 40-something Lega Calcio clubs including Siena, Atalanta, and someone else in Serie A...

Re: Tough week for Calcio
It was time. Most were being phased out, if not already on the periphery. IT's better to remember them as they were, not as they decline.

He might be departing for Botafogo, perhaps even without a farewell game.

Re: Tough week for Calcio
Indeed tough for Serie A to be losing names like that, a big loss..all of them are still fantastic players
On the bright side, the ones who will come to the MLS will certainly improve it that's for sure. I think Di Vaio will tear it up in the MLS!!

There's a chance of Seedorf going to Al-Nasr in the UAE.

Seedorf's wife is from Brazil, so he will likely go there.

Gattuso and Inzaghi are out at AC Milan. Chance they're out of Serie A as well?

There is a good chance.
Gattuso , i am not sure where in Italy him would like to play, otherwise i guess enough teams in Serie A wouldn't mind him . There's been interest for him from Russia the UAE and even Olympiacos from Greece wanted in the past. We'll see .
As for Inzaghi ,
Atalanta and Parma have shown a bit of interest in recent past , but i don't have a clue if he is willing or if he might go to the MLS .
I can't believe i won't watch them in a Milan shirt next season , these 2 where at Milan since i watched my first Milan game.
