What age old debate, Lamps doesn't hold a candle to Gerrard individually.

You cant compare consistency based on goals scored.Gerrard is an CM whereas Lampard is an AM so its natural Lampard consistently scored more goals.

The only season Gerrard played as AM(2008) he outscored Lampard.

It's the other way around, Lampard is not an CAM, Lampard is a natural CM. Gerrard is a CAM, look at his torres partnership, Torres was the ST, and Gerrard played right behind him.

Lampard actually does better when hes deeper and its more of a natural CM then a CAM.

Gerrard is more rounded but Lamps would get you more goals.

Gerrard for me is a slightly better football overall (this is coming from a Chelski man) but I guess it depends on what kind of team you have.
