Yes, but you got to wonder. If he hadn't signed with us, then what are the chances he would have been picked up by a club playing in the CL? And what are the chances he would have signed for us if CL didn't look a certainty?

Well, i don't think that Poldi would go to a CL club just to play CL. He goes to club where he is convinced he feels at home. Mind you, he went to Bayern for a while, but then left them to go back to Cologne, even though he knew they are at best a midtable club.
