He is an insane finisher. One of the best finishers we had at the club. Great left foot.
His problem was lack of work rate, stamina and poor movement(often lazy than lack of trying). Hope he settles in well at Inter.

A goal machine, if Inter just use him right he'll be a cracking player for them. The key is to use him right, with some player you can compromise what role they play, but you shouldn't with Podolski.

Exactly. Get the kid to attack, and have someone else create space for him.

Re: Lukas Podolski #11
It couldn't be most difficult debut for him , match against Juve at Juve stadium ffs
anyway , I've always appreciated Podolski
on Inter thread , just this August , I wrote we should sign him , taking advantage of Sanchez' s signing.
Luckily Inter management reads Goallegacy and he is here now. Maybe there is hope also for Art to watch Mick McCarthy on Liverpool bench . Ah , Thohir, I specify , my Redknapp avatar is ironic !
Basically we weren't interested because we had Mazzarri, he preferred to sign scrub fullbacks for his 3-5-2 and besides Giuliani, mediator in this deal, said was decisive Mancini's presence .. hardly he 'd moved under Mazzarri.
Although this, I was glad when he didn't sign with Sevilla this summer because I hoped to have this chance to sign him . Probably I felt something. It's happeed now.
My only doubt, regret is because we signed him only on loan with no option to buy ihim .
It is definitely the only thing to not make me glad about his arrival .
Probably because his contract expires in 2016 and so if he will play well here, he will like to stay here , he is not on Wenger's plans and so it shouldn't be difficult to reach an agreement among clubs with a low price considering his contract. This is a reason hypothesized by many and it is a legit reasoning tbf.
Anyway one thing at a time! C' mon Lukas, hoping to watch you with Inter kit for years

I hate to be the spoilsport, but Podolski never scored much in his entire club career.
Apart from his breakout season in 2nd Bundesliga at Köln, and his last season at Köln before Arsenal bought him, he probably averages something like 8-9 league goals per season.
He has NOT been a 'goal machine' for any club he's been at, he just beasted consistently for the national team.
I remember Arsenal fans too going "if used right.." to counter that objection.. or Liverpool fans with Mario... well the record doesn't lie, so Inter fans shouldn't expect TOO much.

He's basically been a goal-every-three-games player at Cologne, Arsenal and the NT. With the strikers I've been made to watch at Liverpool this season, I have every right to call that a goal machine.

Match is changed positively with him.
very good impact, he placed also the assist for Icardi but Icardi missed incredibly
you can see him immediately that he is essential for us.
