Quagliarella extends Juve deal
As expected, Fabio Quagliarella has signed a new contract at Juventus which will keep him in Turin until 2015.
The Old Lady have been busy extending the contracts of their players and Quagliarella is the latest to renew after Paolo De Ceglie, Leonardo Bonucci and Alessandro Matri.
Quagliarella was previously tied to the Turin giants until June 2014.
The Italian international joined Juventus in 2010, initially on loan from Napoli before he was signed outright a year later in a deal which totalled €15m.
The former Sampdoria and Udinese man has had to be patient this term to get his chance in Antonio Conte’s plans.
Quagliarella snapped knee ligaments in January 2011 which saw him sidelined for six months.
The 28-year-old has scored four goals in 21 League games this season, but he’s only started in eight of those ties.

Re: Quagliarella extends Juve deal
This summer will be very interesting
With Matri and Fabio extending, Boriello possibly to be signed.
I'm not even going to discuss the Alex situation because its too painful.
I don't think that the first three names are quality enough for champions league and serie a. So, if a bigger name comes in, one of them will be third/fourth option- which one? Will they accept this? I doubt it

Lol. I thought of you, Luca, once i read this news... Is he your favorite player in the world?
I doubt they'll be happy but they all know we need and will sign a player of bigger class then themselves so it wont come as a surprise that next season will take a lot and will be a competition unlike ever before for all of them..

No, Alex is by a long shot.
Quagliarella stole my heart with his goal in the world cup (2010) and then the emotion he showed after the game.
I know him joining Juventus would be wonderful and he was everything and more until an injury took him down.
Definitely one of my favourite players

I think Matri could be loaned out if a great CF is signed to be our number one CF. I still think we need a good SS if ADP leaves.

Re: Quagliarella extends Juve deal
Still disgraced by how you can sign players like borriello and drop players like Del Piero.
Re: Quagliarella extends Juve deal
I think JUVENTUS will use MATRI on the deal to get someone like CAVANI:::
QUAGLIARELA and BORIELLO will be our backup players; what is pretty good

Quagliarella is a good backup and can play multiple positions. Matri is strictly a CF but is flexible enough to play in Conte's system I believe, he is just having some bad form lately, but he is a very good CF. As for Borriello, he would be useful in the kitchen with Amauri.
But definitely we need El Matador as our new CF to take us to Champions League glory. As for ADP, that is a tough one. He is still deadly on the free kicks, which we will need in CL games, and can still play at a high level for 20 minutes or so, so maybe, just maybe, there is a chance he stays in a bench role. Never say never...
