Ancelloti has won just two league titles in his 13 years as manager coaching Juventus, Milan and Chelsea. I don't rate his managerial skills that much, nice to see another team win league un.

Has any team successfully defended the league title in France since Lyon?

It was going so well, Sakho had to mess it up and get red carded while conceding a PK.

Oh well, there is always next season to do better.

They have done better than City in the first year of their experiment, they've handled it better by securing a world class coach with a very ostensible philosophy and a very clear idea of the players he wants in his system.

They have a clear plan going forwad.

I'd say this season is a success once they get to the CL.

Lille barely qualified for the Champions League against Copenhague. They played 120 minutes on Wednesday.

They are weaker than the previous years. When you replace Hazard-Gervinho-Sow by Payet-Roux-Kalou, you are losing.

They are still a collective force and that's what PSG lacks. It is always hard to win at Lille. PSG will not have an easy day.

ffs... first i lol'd because of how psg's "investment" is doing, then i serious'd because i realized our cl opponent beat psg, then i lol'd again when i realized it's an old thread
