Re: Official Thread of the 2012 Olympic Football Tournament
Mano is so blind.. even if he did decide to take only one overage 23 yr old CB, Manoel and Rafael Toloi are both better than Uvini and Juan who are beyond average.

Would've loved to see Fagner instead of overrated Rafael and POORto's Danilo

I know he's 24.
Dropping Hulk and calling him up would be better.

Re: Official Thread of the 2012 Olympic Football Tournament
The question is more if the clubs allow the 23+ players to go to the Olympics. The clubs are only required to give the <23 year old players leave for the Olympics. If the manager of the respective Olympic squads ask a club for an older player, the clubs can say "Forget about it". Especially for clubs who have to play CL qualification etc, the probability that they release key players for the Olympics if they do not have to is rather small.Catracho wrote:Mano is so blind.. even if he did decide to take only one overage 23 yr old CB, Manoel and Rafael Toloi are both better than Uvini and Juan who are beyond average.

Is DL4 injured?
I haven't heard anything on it. Shame for him, he really wanted to go.

Thiago is out for Olympics. Koke most likely will come in for him. Montoya should be a RB tbh Samourai. Tello is good for a supersub

Azpilicueta has been a regular starter for the last 4 years, Montoya will not start ahead of him.

Re: Official Thread of the 2012 Olympic Football Tournament
Senegal just beat Spain 2-0 in a pre-Olympics friendly match, Senegal may be a force to reckon with at the Olympics, their boys are huge, and they have the experience of Diame and N'doye to count on, it's a shame Cisse is unavailable.
I hope they win a medal at least.
As it stands the favourites are Brazil, Spain, Senegal and Uruguay. Team GB may spring in a surprise!

The 2 players the opposition should be watching out for. Ismael Matar won the best player in Asia award like twice or something.
