Chelsea 2012 Official Pre-Season thread

I personally cannot wait for pre-season, first chance to see Hazard in action + a few youngsters.

As you all know, we are playing 4 games in America before returning to play a few in England.

Community shield on the 12th

We will be playing our old mate Gus Poyet on the 4th

Note: Mata, David Luiz, Sturridge, Romeu, Bertrand and Hulk are all possibles to go to the Olympics and will miss out on Pre-Season if they do.

Yep yep, can't wait. It's hard to believe our season just ended a few weeks ago and already it's only like a month until it all starts up again.

Still debating whether or not to buy tickets to one of our tour matches, but either way, I'll definitely be watching them. Anxious to see Hazard, other potential new signings and, like you said, some of the youngsters.

You're lucky you get to go to a good match. My only option would be to see us vs MLS All Stars...on a Wednesday night. So im not sure if I'm gonna be able to do that. Not to mention, they're holding it in the shitty PPL Park so the tickets cost a fortune.

I wouldn't think so. When you're playing for a European cup, I don't think it can be classified amongst the meaningless friendlies a pre-season consists of.
