Beretta: Hard to match Juve
Mario Beretta admits Cesena will have to play ‘beyond their means’ to have any chance of taking a result off Juventus and avoid relegation being confirmed.
Cesena are on both their longest unbeaten run of the season, after five consecutive draws, and on their longest run without a win, having not picked up three points since mid-January.
Failure to beat Juventus on Wednesday night will send the Cavallucci Marini back down to Serie B, whilst even ending the Bianconeri’s unbeaten record this term may not be enough if results elsewhere go against the Emilia-Romagna outfit.
“I saw Juventus win against Roma on Sunday night, they are a great team with great physical and mental strength,” enthused Beretta on Tuesday to the assembled media.
“They have not yet lost in the League this season and that says it all about the values of [Coach Antonio] Conte.
“We will have to put in a performance beyond our means by giving more than 100 per cent and hope that Juventus are not at their best, because otherwise it is going to be tough.
“It serves as a great test, both physically and mentally.
“I believe Juve are favourites for the title race, especially in terms of psychology - Milan have had some negative results whilst Juve remain in great condition.”

Re: Beretta: Hard to match Juve
This should be a good match. Cesena has everything to play for so they can't afford to play for a 0-0 draw. This means they will have to attack. This is to Juve's benefit to keep our lead in the Scudetto race.
