Official: Roma acquire Marco Borriello
A. S. Roma S.p.A. announces that it has exercised, in terms and in the manner prescribed by the federal regulations in force, the right of option to acquire outright the rights of the player Marco Borriello.
For the outright purchase of these rights is the requirement in favor of AC Milan for a fee of € 10 million, plus VAT, payable in three annual installments through the Football League, of which € 3.4 million in the 2011/2012 season, and € 3.3 million in the seasons 2012/2013 and 2013/2014.

Good piece of business. I'm still not quite sure where he's gonna fit in at though. He's not gonna want a bench role behind Totti and he's done enough not to warrant one either.

We need at least one physical presence up front, he'll come in useful. And looking at the price tags being thrown around lately, 10 million seems more than fair.
