As far as I could tell (via one quick search in the 'search topics' bar) there have been no threads like this which surprises me even though the transfer rumors thread becomes this kinda thing sometimes Razz

Wages, fitness, windows closing, clubs unwillingness to sell etc. are not variables as this is to gauge the opinion of how our window should go according to the fine Gooners here in the Arsenal section. I put a lot of work into this as well, what with the tables and the fonts and the colors... What a Face

Obviously the prices are not exact and not all rumored names are listed so if there's anyone else you'd like to buy or sell then just add a reasonable price to their name.

I would love Eriksen just to see a midfield of Song Eriksen and Wilshere.
We have enough wide players as Ryo will probably be in the 1st team next season, possibly could do with another defender if Djourou leaves which seems unlikely.
Ramsey while he has been poor is still young and when Wilshere returns will he will have to improve or not get game time.

I'm buying Podolski, Hernanes, and Vertoghen. That's 43m.

I'm selling Squillaci, Denilson, Arshavin, Bendtner, and Vela. That's 31m.

I'll net 12m in transfer expenses... The board wouldn't be too dissatisfied with that would they? lol

sidenote: Belhanda intriuges me, as do Sessegnon and Dempsey as they'd be very useful for us. If I bought Sessegnon or Dempsey I'd loaning Chamakh out.

1. keep the current squad as it is .
2. Get one creative mid feilder in case rosiscky gets injured gotze/erikson
3. Get striker giroud.
4. make signing before deadline day and when summer camp starts to make sure the team gels together.

I agree with most of what you have here, but Fabianski will leave, because he doesn't get any time. and you forgot to put Ryo coming back from loan.

If Fabianski leaves than we have to bring Buffone (Mannone Razz

) back to our squad after having a quite good 2nd half-season with Hull City. As for Ryo I think he needs another loan-spell (looks still too raw for me).

If we bring Hazard than it's pointless to bring Ryo back or other way around. We would have too many wingers in our squad.

forget hazard, he is overrated and talks too much. erikson is way more creative and a better player.

Buy Benayoun, Podolski, Vertonghen, M'vila, Sigdursson and Dempsey(75, the board is gonna be pissed)

Loan out Sigdursson

Result: Premier League Title, Slaughter everyone in the Champions League except Barcelona because Podolski gets a red card against them for throwing the ball in with his feet touching the line.

We can get more then 5m for Arshavin, Zenit want him and he is still Russian Captain. he could easily get 10m for him.

and no way would i want Djourou to leave, even though he may not be one of the best defenders around, he loves Arsenal and has a lot of close friendships with people in the Team... and is a very useful player against lower league teams and Cup games...

Sell: Almunia (will leave for free, regardless), Mannone (wants first team football), Squillaci, Denilson, Arshavin, Park, Vela and Chamakh.

Loan: Fabiasnki (since he wants game time, but have recall option), Ramsey, Miyaichi, Afobe and Campbell.

Buy: Podolski and Sigurdsson

Going by the supposed prices, that's £22mil spent and £32mil recouped.

that is more realistic, but it wont push us forward to were we want to be. have you watched sigurdsson? is he really good btw?

if we really want to make a push, we should go for erikson but that is kinda tricky, so belhenda would be a good alternative.

I've seen Sigurdsson plenty of times. Creativity is there, and is excellent in front of goal, especially from range and set-pieces. Not as quick or direct as Eriksen or Hazard, but I wasn't really looking for pace and directness in the midfield, just creativity and the ability to support the forwards and score goals as I feel that's what we lack in that attacking midfield area.

I see few reasons why a player like that wouldn't push us forward. We've won 9 of our last 10 games with Rosicky in midfield, who's done a very good job but I wouldn't want him starting every single game next season if we can get someone better - which we most certainly can (this is the reason why I want to send Ramsey on loan, since it opens up a spot in the squad). So why can't we go further with Sigurdsson, who I believe will be a better player? Not to mention Podolski's addition adds further creativity and goal threat to our attack.

I wouldn't be opposed to Eriksen - don't think anybody would - but my doubt over him is that he's not great in front of goal.

I guess my approach to this is adding a more potent goalscoring threat to the midfield, so we wouldn't have to rely on van Persie to goals and can let him link-up with three players who can score goals. We'd become a less predictable side, that way.

Flamini is also out of contract this summer, so won't cost £5m.

Realistically out:

Release Almunia.
Sell Squillaci, Djourou, Denilson, Park, Chamakh, Arshavin, Vela & Bendtner.

In terms of ins, if all the players I have mentioned above leave, then we will need some a healthy amount of signings.

I would welcome Joel Campbell (w/permit permitting) & Ryo Miyaichi into our squad after loans out. I would find PL loans for Lansbury & Bartley, possibly next Jan after carling cup games. I would try to sign Benayoun permanently too.

Of course, we anticipate Podolski arrival.

I still haven't been able to gauge everyone's views on Kalou. I think he would be a great little buy if he would be content with a very reduced role.

Same with Benayoun. He's a fantastic player and brings so much to the table (experience, intelligence, work ethic, leadership, talent) but he's voiced his discontent with his role (even though he's been played a lot recently) I think he would be a great captain to our FA Cup and Carling Cup squads and a good squad player but the question is how willing is he to accept that role? Same for Kalou.
