Seedorf in surprise Juve link

The Gazzetta dello Sport is today speculating that Juventus may show an interest in Clarence Seedorf should he leave Milan.

The Dutchman is one of numerous veterans at San Siro who are only contracted to the club until June 2012.

According to the report, Juve will consider making a move should the Rossoneri not offer the midfielder a new deal.

Juventus made a similar swoop for Andrea Pirlo last summer, a successful transfer which the Old Lady are keen to mirror.

Pirlo has also confirmed that he has spoken to Alessandro Nesta about the Turin giants, another Milan player who has just months left on his current agreement.

Nesta has only played in 11 Serie A games this term, while fellow 36-year-old Seedorf has made 15 top-flight appearances so far.

The Dutchman looks certain to leave the Rossoneri in the summer transfer window, and the Bianconeri have joined the list of suitors who are interested in his services

The Old Lady are looking to add more experience to their squad as they prepare for next year's Champions League, and it is believed that they see the 36-year-old Seedorf, who has won European club football's elite competition four times, as the perfect addition to their midfield.

The Dutch veteran has an expiring contract at the Rossoneri, and the San Siro outfit appear to be ready to bid farewell to the former Netherlands international at the end of the season.

Seedorf has been linked with a transfer to MLS and Brazil, but Juventus are reportedly hopeful of persuading the midfielder to stay in Italy.

The Serie A leaders previously lured Pirlo away from Milan in the summer of 2011 on a free transfer, and have also been linked with a move for veteran defender Alessandro Nesta.

He is too old to play the high intensity style of the Juve midfield :shisha:

Why would someone say no to Seedorf ? a specially for depth?

SEEDORF is the best answer for JUVENTUS because he can substitute every player in our midfield; MARCHISIO, VIDAL, PIRLO

if we also get NESTA this team can win champions league if we only add two quality strikers like Jovetic example
