Shame on Serie A

yet again I have lost faith in Serie A. Why the hell clubs like Roma, Inter, Napoli fail in the league..AGAIN, so that useless sides like SS HItler-Lazio can claim CL place and be humiliated in CL. So only Juve and Milan will defend Italys honour. Sad

Napoli have a history of cracking under pressure, and with the exhausting run in the CL i saw this coming to be honest. Lazio is a good team and if they invest well this summer they might be able to pull their weight in the CL. Will they perform as good as Napoli this season? i dont think so, but they're certainly no scrubs.

Stop criticizing the teams & player because it is much more easier to say than to actually do it...

La Liga is a two team league, but we dont want Italian league to turn into one. Lazio have never, ever done anything good when they have got into CL. Useless side. Same failiure as udinese. Italy needs its big teams to be in CL. Even crappy Inter, whos poor at league, managed to reach last sixteen. Big teams will perform, Serie A hasnt got time for experiments or luck, we need UEFA co-crap-points to take that fourth CL place from the 1-2 team Bundesliga..

Lazio won't pick up more than 66 pts by the end of the season.

Seven games remain. 21 pts remain for each team.

Napoli need 18.
Roma 19.
Inter 21.
Udinese 15.

Lazio have to play Juventus, Udinese, Siena, Atalanta, and Inter :dance:

Lazio traditionally fails in the CL. I agree with the OP with having 0 faith in Lazio to make an impact. Even when Lazio had an incredible squad in 1998/1999/2000/2001 that was probably their greatest squad in the history of the club they still failed to make an impact in the CL. More concerning is that I don't think Napoli can keep Cavani, Lavezzi and Hamsik without CL football.

But thankfully I don't think Lazio will get the 3rd spot. As Zarola posted above me, they have the most difficult last few games in the league. Napoli should snatch the 3rd spot.

Why exactly should Lazio care about Serie A's reputation in the CL ? Its not like they would finish below 3rd on purpose so teams like Inter can get the CL spot.
