Inter have revealed that they will have to hand over almost €14m to Porto if they opt to keep Fredy Guarin.

The Colombian international joined the Nerazzurri in January and he finally made his debut last weekend following his struggles with injury.

“The option to sign Guarin outright is set at €13.5m,” Beneamata technical director Marco Branca told O Jogo. “That is the fee agreed with Porto.

“We’re very pleased with Guarin so far and he did well in his debut against Genoa on Sunday. However, there is some time to go before we decide whether or not to keep the player.”

The midfielder was also targeted by Juventus during the winter window, but the Old Lady opted instead to sign Simone Padoin from Atalanta.

And Vidal was 9 + 2 million lol ... Sorry Guarin is good player but Vidal > Guarin

Players normally cost more in January than in the summer due to being last minute purchases and what not.

Not to mention Vidal was that price because his contract was almost up, I am unsure about Guarin's contract prior to Inter.

Either way, I think Padoin & Caceres filled a bigger need

we were doing fine in midfield (when the January window opened) so there were no need to bring a high price tag player for depth

That Guarin would be more expensive than Vidal and he is in the last yr of the contract to I believe. Vidal is better than him for me at least but I respect Guarin

Still think Guarin wouldve been better player for us than padoin but probably not worth 15m.

Padoin.. still think hes a waste of money. Average player.
