Im not here to measure things. Just stating my opinions and asking for one.

Not well, both have been flopping for months now. I usually hold my opinion after half a season. And during the half season they had, they where purely awful. Awful in the scale of Amauri.

I would hold that opinion. Torres has been good for 2 consecutive games now, we might be seeing a change. Of course the fact that Villas-Boas focuses on passing the ball helps a lot.

Sigh....my bad......This was just an emotion spilling over from another thread.

I rate the Caroll transfer cuz he's the type of player you can really base an attack around, and the type of player who can really grow into an all round beast.

Currently the torres transfer looks shockingly bad , but over time it will prove to be a shrewd piece of business.( 2 leauge titles from now to be exact)

My opinion is not fact, and as such is susceptible to change. I hope no malice towards Toress or Chelsea, and such hope Toress turns around (the EPL would be more fun if he and Chelsea did) ad proves me wrong. In situations like this I am happy to be proven wrong, but blind optimism (I am not accusing you of it, rather Sepi) only hurts more when it does not come true.

Again, as things stand Toress/Carrol are flops. Hope they have the balls to prove us wrong. Toress has the history and the ability to do so, and the bloc is mental. I saw mental blocks that were never lifted (Sheva is a good example) and are not to be underestimated. Carrol in the other hand does not have the history and as such may have been a half season wonder. He has more to prove, because faliure to do so might end his career, while Toress simply had a good career, and can either get it back or not.

Hope I am proven wrong, here is to that
