Hernanes was shet last season, he has to keep up what he is currently doing to get back in the team

Just watched the game. Oscar's movement is insane and I like Nerman in the False 9 role.

Not a fan of Paulinho though. Oscar constantly had to drop deep just to bring the ball out of Brazil's half. Would like to see Hernanes given a go in that position alongside Rambo.

Obviously it was only Iraq but I feel Brazil's pressing game has also improved. Nerman and Oscar are very good at it, you have a beast like Ramires behind them and two athletic defenders in Luiz & Silva.

Especially when some of them have never come up against the quality of defences they will face in 2014.

Shouldn't you be trying to face as much as quality as possible to prepare yourself ?

I get the feeling Mano is scared of losing thus possibly losing his job because facing teams like this aint helping no one.

The problem here is that everyone else is playing qualifiers,so we cant arrange tough friendlies.

KAKA is NOT FINISHED! He's come back continued on the right path on Thursday night as he went beast mode on Iraq scoring, assisting and just being a thorn in the side.

Kaka’s left a mark in every single game this season including in preseason. This should be the longest run of form the Brazilian has enjoyed since moving to the Spanish Capital, I’m glad for him because he is hungry for success. More and more is he looking like his former Milan self skipping pass defenders scoring blinders with his right foot and left, even with his bum (against Millonarios) he’s defensive work rate has soared as well. Hopefully Mou will grant him the opportunity to exhibit his capabilities against a strong team and integrate him back into the starting lineup because he deserves it.

He's only played against a small Millonarios side, who aren't any good.. was meh, against Ajax, and was invisible against Barce.. not surprised..

But now he's "back" because he played well against World powers... Iraq!?!

You've got be kidding me... Kaka will not be a figure in 2014.. and nor is he back. We'll call him up if we play Singapore next or something

Kaka has performed well in all the games he featured this season, against Milonarios, Ajax, Deportivo, Barca and now against Iraq. Contrary to what you stated Kaka gave the best CAM performance by any Real Madrid player so far this season against Ajax, his off the ball work rate especially was the object of praise on many Real Madrid blogs.

He tackled a player in the penalty box during the Barcelona match averting a clear shot at goal, apart from that all important tackle there wasn't much else he could do to influence the game in 10 minutes. However as pointed out he prevented a goal.

Given the above I would say that he's a had a very good season so far. And I'm no forecaster of the future but f he can maintain this form I'd say he stands a pretty good chance of featuring in the 2014 world cup for Brazil.
