sisha is worse then smoking cigarettes because people get hooked on it thinking it safer then cigarettes but they end up doing alot more

You don't have to inhale it. Inhaling gives you more of a buzz though.

Hookah is nice and relaxing, but definitely has an impact on your performance. I agree that it's their personal lives and they should do what they want to have fun, but I just know that when I smoke hookah and have a game the next day, I do notice a difference in my cardio.
