Yep, I agree with that lineup.

We're going for another win, its gonna be a tricky match though. Lecce dont have anything to fight for i think but they wont make it easier for us. Also looking forward to see Bertolacci play.

Lecce are 3rd from bottom mate,I expect a really tough match here,I saw their game against Cesena and I wasn't very impressed,saying that though you just know they will play the game of their lives against us..They must think they're going to get an extra bonus point if they beat us,fkn jammy *bleep*

They present a tricky proposition at the Via del Mare this season.

Let's not forget...they thumped Inter 4-0 too. When inspired, they can and possibly will cause problems for us.

Not a game to be taken lightly.

Lecce is fighting the relegation and with fiorentina and Genoa's poor form they have every reason in this world to play for . Its not that important as if we keep the tempo and play as a unit Roma can pretty much win any team in the world , last time around we made 18 continues passes for the goal , thats what i want more and more .

Well yeah, chance creation is always great, but we do need to continue to put those chances away or we could end up looking like Liverpool.

Lecce will setup to counter attack rapidly and incisively and our backline is going have problems handling that just as it has with all the other minnows that have taken the same tactics against us.

I'm 100% sure we'll concede at least once so we just need to make sure we score from the chances we get.

Lets hope for the chances to come around and turn into goals , I came to the conclusion that besides Juventus every single team in the League have Defencive problems so its not only Roma .

Totti out, Pjanic in for Roma

Roma are assured of Miralem Pjanic’s availability for this weekend against Lecce, but not Francesco Totti’s.

Both Giallorosso men were a doubt for the trip to the Stadio Via del Mare this Saturday, Totti for continued struggles with a calf injury, Pjanic for a slight muscle strain.

Where club captain Totti was forced to miss training again today, with his injury ruling him out of being called up to the matchday squad for Week 31, Roma at least welcomed Pjanic back to on-pitch practice.

The Bosnian is in line to be named for the weekend’s match, but even so it is thought likely that he is only to start the game against Serse Cosmi’s relegation-threatened side from the bench.

Totti is one of eight players unavailable to Coach Luis Enrique this weekend.

So Bojan will get another chance to start alongside Dani Osvaldo and Lamela then. Let's see if he can make it 2 goals in 2 matches.

Shame Totti's out because he loves scoring against Lecce.

What a pathetic performance. The most crucial time to play well and get a win and we go out in flames to a team struggling to stay in the top flight. Terrible. I am disgusted right now. All this pointless ball possession and we can barely even get a shot on net. No creativity in this squad. Everyone is standing around passing it among each other. Its really getting old.

This was a regression back to our October/November form. Dominate possession and create few chances and even fewer goals. Absolutely no motivation from anyone out there for the first 80 minutes until we upped the tempo and scored 2 consolations. I was actually rather pleased with Kjaer's performance though. He wasn't to blame for any of the goals and he looked pretty solid with his defending and even better with his passing out of the back. Encouraging stuff from the Dane.


Luis Enrique didn't make one substitution all game as well. I've defended him steadfastly all season, but I can't defend this. We clearly needed a change in tactics and tempo and he ignored that for some reason. Poor from him.

Lecce were fantastic today, regardless of their status in the table. They were quick, vibrant, adventurous and played with guile and verve. Most importantly, they took the chances given to them. That's what sank us today. Luis Muriel is proving to be a top talent. We need to step up our interest in him this summer. He, along with Cuadrado and Di Michele played so well today.

I've been saying this from day 1. We are not ready for the CL. On evidence today, we aren't even ready for the EL. We're simply not ready for European football at all. We're not consistent enough. I hope this loss underscores that point.

When I checked the result I wasn't pissed,I just bursted out laughing cause it's that fkn pathetic,letting Lecce put 4 past you ffs

I don't know which was more funny us losing 4-2 against these clowns or Milan losing at home to an Amauri goal.

I was pissed off with this match though. After we went 2-0 I turned off the TV.

I forced myself to keep watching and I'm glad I did. Bojan and Lamela's goals were quality.

It's just a shame it took far too long for that type of football to come to the fore. If It had come maybe 20 minutes earlier, we'd have a chance of salvaging this match, but such is life and football.

Now we have to move on and prepare for Udinese. If we want to stay in the hunt for Europe, we have to get max points there.

Just looking at our head to head against Lecce and I'm laughing even more it's their first win against us in 22 meetings,a run going back to 1993.

Was Lamela not taking freekicks before? He's great at setpieces. What a goal he scored
