Re: The Three Lions
He's not played enough to prove he's better than Delph, let alone Shelvey.
Now isn't the time for young unproven players, in any case.

Surely better then Dalph and Shelvey.
Right now Fabregas wouldn't start over Shelvey, let alone Loftus Cheek.
Tbh I see Shelvey starting at Euro 2016.

A lot depends on who is in form towards the end of the season.BusterLfc wrote:Right now Fabregas wouldn't start over Shelvey, let alone Loftus Cheek.Blue wrote:I wonder why England would not call up Ruben Loftus Cheek?

Barkley has had a good start so he will continue playing behind Rooney. Henderson is the usual B2B while Wilshere is the 2nd name on the teamsheet.
I am hoping that midfield clicks, eventhough it seems a bit attack heavy.

Re: The Three Lions
Hart, Cahill, Wilshere, Henderson, Welbeck, Sterling and Rooney are sure starters if they're fit. I think Milner and Delph have more of a chance starting with Wilshere/Henderson to protect Wilshere, since putting Shelvey or Barkley in there will hurt the team defensively.
Shelvey (if he keeps up his form) and Barkley would be two decent bench options, at least.

They are still young and it's best if they stat on the bench, IMOGoonerJay29 wrote:Hart, Cahill, Wilshere, Henderson, Welbeck, Sterling and Rooney are sure starters if they're fit. Re: The Three Lions
Did I get that right that Hodgson didn't even mention Switzerland in that press conference about the Switzerland match?

Re: The Three Lions
Kane proving to be a good option off the bench, as I thought he would be.
We've been very average, though. Can't say we deserved that.

Re: The Three Lions
2-0. Rooney penalty (he gets a lot of those).
That damn record is finally out the way. Now maybe he can start playing the top forward he's supposed to be.
