Re: Raheem Sterling
So out of the 6 goals I see here it seems like 4 assists from Suarez, one from Kolo and I do not remember v NottsCounty who had given him the ball
it seems like we are really having a
SASAS
Studge & Suarez & Sterling, Suarez in the middle because i think he has been the focal point of the emergence of such thing called SASAS

Re: Raheem Sterling
I think if people just stick around for at least a month they'll love it. Most cut their stays way too short because, I guess, they feel like an outsider since we're a very tight knit group.

El Jefe and Vegfootball had a good try, but they, too, went quiet then.

EE and HMR are the newest ones that have stuck, I believe. Not sure who was newer of the two...

Heil has definitely been here longer than EE.
I miss ICS. Quality poster. He was buzzing for this season at the beginning of preseason. Wish he'd come back. Also wish BeatifulGame would post more. As well as PoolSupporter returning.
No need to even mention Nj, he's gone for good
Think we should move this conversation to the Community thread before RedO spots it

Don't know why Hodgson mentions Zaha, though.

Re: Raheem Sterling
Having been handed the chance to showcase his talents by Brendan Rodgers last season, Raheem Sterling has become a key member of the Reds starting XI this term, making 21 league appearances, 15 of which have been starts. Alongside Luis Suárez and Daniel Sturridge in the attack, the 19-year-old has come on leaps and bounds as Liverpool look to secure a top 4 finish.
Bagging a brace against Arsenal in Saturday’s 5-1 win took his Premier League tally for the season to 5, with another 2 assists to his name thus far. In a World Cup year, Sterling is coming into form at just the right time as he looks to force his way into Roy Hodgson’s 23-man squad for Brazil 2014.
The winger is currently averaging 2.6 dribbles per game, accumulating a matching WhoScored strength in turn, with his figure bettered only by Suárez (2.9) of every Liverpool player. Such is his ability with the ball that Sterling has also won the most penalties (3) in England’s top tier this term, highlighting how he’s able to draw fouls in dangerous positions for the benefit of the team. His average rating of 7.31 emphasises how key he has been in the Reds’ pursuit of a return to the Champions League.

Re: Raheem Sterling
Just wanted to bump this because Sterling has been immense. The sky is the limit for this guy...at 19 years old he's already one of the best players on the team, and so versatile as well. He definitely deserves to be mentioned amongst the top u21 players in the world such as Draxler, Gotze, Pogba and co. IMO. Most people will call it homerism, but it's just the truth.

Re: Raheem Sterling
Yeah, been fantastic. Surprisingly good in the middle as well! Would be great if he could work on his shooting next, you rarely see him taking a shot on from outside the box.

Re: Raheem Sterling
Calma Cujo, if Sterling can beat at least 2 or may be 1 player minimum and even shoot properly (not even score goal), i may think to consider him to put him into some tier. As of now he is nowhere near the names you mentioned. But after the next season, he might start taking those chances

Well you also have to remember that he is two years younger than Pogba and Gotze as well as a year younger than Draxler. I can't think of a better 19 year old in the world right now.

You were calling Fischer better (who's had an inconsistent year) a couple months ago.

I never said that Fischer was better. I said Sterling was the only young talent on a comparable level to Fischer (who I rate very highly) that we had (and that Fischer might even be better). That said Sterling has, since then, really upped his game and taken a step forward. I would still love to have Fischer, but Sterling has been top notch. To be fair Fischer has struggled with injury as well which has stunted his development a bit.
