At the moment Campbell seems to be better than Afobe but Afobe has all the ingredient and potential to be a top player. Unfortunately his injuries have stalled his progress.

Re: afobe or joel campbell?
I'm completely certain that had Afobe not picked up that injury, he would be performing very well at loan somewhere.
Campbell is doing really well at Lorient and at International level and that bodes well for his future. I see him as a very good poacher in the future, although from the games I've seen him he doesn't quite work as hard or link up play as much as can do. Maybe that'll come the more he plays.
Afobe I see as a slightly different player. At Huddersfield, he may not have scored too much but in every game he worked incredibly hard and is a really pacey and strong player.
Potentially both can make it in our team - why limit ourselves to just one of them? - but a lot depends on our striking situation in the next couple of years i.e. whether van Persie will stay or not and whether Podolski will sign and play centrally if van Persie does leave.

it's not a mutually exclusive thing. the question was who do you think has a better chance.
i think both can but i also think we should remove the veterans that are in their way. get rid of park and chamakh, and vela and bendtner should be sold after their loans are over.

Re: afobe or joel campbell?
Hoping for what RG said. Campbell has a certain finesse and confidence in his play as he's naturally gifted in that aspect and used to the pressure of international football as well as top flight French football. Afobe is built like a tank and his record speaks for itself, I don't think we should have to drop either one to nurture the other but that they'll come of age together and bloom to wreak havoc on all of England repping the cannon in the process.
Or we can look back at this in a few years' time and laugh at two flops.
