Bild:
I feel Lucas has so much more to prove at the European stage, he was Borussia's top scorer last year, where they lifted the Busdesliga plate ffs. A move to Malaga would've been perfect for both parties imo.
At BVB for letting this happen..
The Borussia Dotmund striker is set to join Chinese club, Guangzhou in deal worth 12m. Lucas is ready to pen a lucrative four year contract. This deal puts aside previous interest Marseille and Malaga.

why would bvb care where he goes? they'll be getting more money from them than malaga would have ever paid, his own fault if he wants to murder his career...

Also why would they want to keep him? I still say they should offload Lewandowski and Kuba as well, replace them with players who are actually good at finishing. It's horrible how their rate of chance conversion has tanked in Götzes absence.

They pretty much let go of one of their best players over the past 2 seasons, and hold on to Lewandoski who can't finish as well as.
Guess it all falls under funding the Reus transfer, although a Reus, Gozte Barrios frontline is much. much greater than a Reus, Gotze, Lewandoski frontline.,

Meh, I don't know enough about the Chinese league to diss it, but this is a pretty appalling decision from Barrios.
That said, he's still rather young so whenever he gets his fill of the money they'll pay him, he'll return to Europe eventually.

Remember, Football is just a job for some, a passion but a job, i dont see the issue. He is in his late twenties, he can go make massive money for his future now, it's not like big club is going to come looking for him and ask him to start.

I don't see him ever making it into the Argentine NT unless the team bus drives off a cliff or the plane falls from the sky.
Taking that into consideration I don't think it matters how competitive the league he plays in is. So naturally chasing money is the best option for him.

Hahaha thank you for bringing that to my attention. I thought he was Argentinian. Him being Paraguayan is one reason why he'll never play for Argentina. I did at least get the continent correct and they share a border.
With the new information that has come to light China is a horrible destination at this point in his career.

Lawl.
Would be sex at Málaga with Rondón
But I guess he's the Paraguayan Nasri.
Too bad, really. I rate him as a player.

What's with the hate on polish players if it wasn't for our polish players (klose podolski) Germany would have no strikers in the last couple years.
Ya sometimes their finishing is crap but they are not that bad as you make it sound!

You people do realize that he is getting 48mil for four years right? It just seems like a smart decision. Footballer's careers are short, so you have to get yourself the best financial package before you retire. Good decision from him. There are more important things in life than football. Money is one of them.

Why would I care that they're polish? They're just horrible at finishing. If Dortmund had Klose and Podolski I wouldn't have said anything. It's not my fault the most wasteful players Dortmund has are Poles. :vagi:
