He likes to go down and dirty to win the ball back, and he does it with a fair rate of success for a DLP Very Happy

Not only he likes to tackle but hes pressing capability is superb really. He always fights for the ball and never gives up without a challenge. Good game from him today, was bossing in high and deep lines.

Some people think pairing him with Xabi would weaken our defense but i don't think so. he's a very balanced CM actually.

He played the Khedira role in the 1st half and Xabi role in 2nd. Pulled off a few great passes but he will need time to fully integrate into the team & reach optimal form.

For his first proper game after a longtime injury he's done a great job Thumbs up

He's a beast since he was at Dortmund. But today it was clear he was not totally fit and after all made an acceptable 2nd half.

Zagred played very poorly tonight and had nobody to worry us. I'd wait until Sahin has to perform against one of the top tier La Liga teams to see how he really does defensively... La Liga has very good midfielders.

Yeah i agree. But we all know he's not yet well in feet. He has still a huge work to do to compete for a place in the Midfield. He's maybe our winter mercato Fichado.

Great game regardless of how bad Zagreb where. His first start of the season and I would've called you a liar if you told me that had I not known better.

We discussed it last year already. There was a statistic of balls won in BVB midfield. He didn't leave all the job to Bender, mind you Dortmund plays 4-2-3-1 just like us but with Farca pressing eco smile

he is a fighter and would never allow someone to pass by without a tackle if he is deep in midfield eco smile

funny you should say that because I watched Dortmund against Bayern the other night and their entire team was camped, quite disgracefully, in their own 18 yard box. Laughing
